Brief Description of FMFM ACP: In September of 2003, the Fort Berthold Development Corporation was awarded a design build contract for the ACP at Ft. Myer and Ft. McNair. The project entails construction of Access Control Points at Old Post Gate, Hatfield Gate, Henry Gate, and Main Gate. FBDC is to develop a final design that will be approved by the ACOE. Once the final design is approved FBDC will then commence the construction. FBDC will coordinate all outages, closures, and GFE with the military base, DPW, ACOE, and FMMC. No gates are allowed to be completely closed. The work will include a new Visitor Control Center, a new Vehicle Inspection Station, new Guard Booths, site work, utilities, road work, and all architectural divisions.
